While still in the tertiary Institution, I admired and still admire one of my astute lecturers – Mrs. Adah Anyahuru Kudirat, because of her virtually all the girls in my class turned to Feminists. In the words of popular Award winning Nigerian writer – Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche Feminism in an ideal sense simply means being who you are; being the woman that you are, without fears of judgement from folks. She asserts “ and then we do a much greater disservice to girls, because we raise them to cater to the fragile egos of males. We teach girls to shrink themselves, to make themselves smaller. We say to girls: you can have ambition, but not too much. You should aim to be successful but not too successful, otherwise you will threaten the man. If you are the breadwinner in your relationship with a man, pretend that you are not, especially in public, otherwise you will emasculate him ” I therefore believe that in other words, it's all about fighting for what you want not waiting for ...

On a particular Sunday morning, sometime early this year. I visited a family and during the course of the preparation for mass one of them asked me in confidence "Dom...can someone who kissed someone recieve the communion" Imagine my numbness, for seconds I couldn't say anything because it was really tricky but yet I gavean answer. Human interest in sex is not a matter left to chance but more a built-in-imperative; survival of the species depends on it. The moral and political implications of sex vary greatly from culture to culture, and eve writhing cultures and over time; still,there is agreement on one certainty : it's why we 're alive to say and what future generations depend on. ...

I do not intend to insight violence, hatred, prejudice among countless numerous mundane feelings with this piece, but it's always wise to" call a spade a spade and not a garden fork" Racism is rooted in the very DNA of (I beg to withhold my words) it is prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior. Because of the colour of your skin, they ask if you are from a cave and if you have tails. A friend who got scholarship and studied abroad buttressed the fact that during the first class he was using the meter rule and someone approached him and said " Can I teach you how to use that...?  As if we grow in caves in Africa. O Mother Africa! Have they forgotten in a hurry that civilization started in Egypt: a country located in the northeastern corner of the African Continent. If then your Lord and master have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. (John 13:14) If Jesus could do this very belittling task for his disciples, why won't I humble myself and recognize the strength of others. Know it today! That even the least amongst you deserves your concerned respect and love for the pride of Christianity is Humility. At every public worship of the Roman Catholic Church, there is a principal culmination. This culmination is also known as the celebration of the sacrament of the Eucharist. The word isn’t of English, thus; is a word with diverse dimensions, all going back to the man’s central need of giving thanks to God. It is one of the often used words in Catholicism. Its meaning is deep and more profound and only one with profound intimacy with God can fully comprehend its richness.  To properly understand the word is necessary to consider the word in itself. As the Catechism of the Catholic Church would assert: “The inexhaustible richness of this sacrament is expressed in the different names we give it. Each name evokes certain aspects of it. It is called: Eucharist, because it is an action of  thanksgiving to God. The Greek words: 'ευχαριστία'  ( eucharistein) and 'ευλογείν'  (eulogein) recall the Jewish blessings that proclaim - especially during a meal - God's work...

If you drive us out, send us into the herds of swine... Matthew 8:28-34 The demons in the two men recognized Jesus immediately as the son of God, seeing him they became afriad that he has come to torment them before their time. We don't know why Jesus choose to grant their request of casting them into the herds of swine but we know the two men were made whole. The reflectable part of this miracle is that the people were not interested in the liberation Jesus has brought to these two men, they were more upset about the source of income they have lost. The felt Jesus was bad for business so they asked him to leave. Sometimes when you fall, it's could be God freeing you from Bad Business, in order to raise you up, clean you up and put you in the right track.

My post on Will Racism Ever Stop, brought lotsof controversial comments especially on facebook. I was asked to stop, take it down and stop writing that. How I laughed. Putting individuals convicted of crimes, especially violent crimes, in prison is thought to make the rest of us safer. But how much safety does all this imprisonment actually buy us? The answer is very little, especially in the long-term. There are good reasons to think prisons might prevent crime.
